Screen Culture Film Festival was first launched in 2018. It was an experiment started by two University students as an attempt to make a student only festival, it was relatively successful and ever since still has a separate “Student Day” to keep in with tradition and respect the thankless work of young filmmakers.

We love the weird and the wonderful, the experimental, the fusion and the imaginative. We love to share in ideas, great successes and even great failures. Whatever it is, we don’t shy away from it. We want artists from all walks of life to participate where they can.

We want artists to come and experience the films of independent and student filmmakers, their stories and experiences through the real and the surreal.
